I should’ve done this awhile back…i blame the snow.

Anyways. soooo…. our stuff well..parts of it. is now at paintlounge. putting some of our stuff..here..and there..and you can find out stuff..right across from the cashier. there’s buttons…and shirts…and …hats..and bags…and they have cakes..and tea..and paint brushes and paintings..and wifi…and lots of events coming up

after the winter break i was starting to feel…fat. ish. i was reminded multiple times by many of how my flub was stretching out my shirt…

luckily dragon boat season is coming up soon and training started picking up pace. so hopefully i get back into shape and shave some fat off…and captain wing showed up with this dash thing which looks semi-insane. its basically a 5km run through fire pits, mud holes, forests, junk yards and a bunch of other random stuff…
either way. so i signed up for it and the run is on july 9th. the down side is, i have to pay for it -,-;

last minute booth at the annual nuit blanche…. very hectic, a small booth of 6′x8′, and our usual sweatshop of making buttons. trust me, 6 people in that small of a booth… we definitely made use of our space.

including ron having to sit on the other side of the street to eat his food while the booth was in a flurry of action..

overall an awesome night, a great experience and thanks to everyone who waited in the crazy lineup to enter the market.. you guys made it happen for us!

today was good, got to sleep in a bit more before heading down. final day to buy buy buy! picked up a few munnies and some archie comics hehehe….

Creative Zing had a good day to cap off the weekend.

We had kids who tried to eat our zing rings… and kids who refused our zing rings because it wasnt cool to wear rings… go figure.

we’ll definitely be back next year at fan expo 2011, and in the meantime we will be around at a few events (i.e. Anime North) so keep an eye out for us!

we’re currently at the metro convention centre in toronto for the annual fan expo!

we added a new design, “penguinoid” (below right) for this event and the “fried penguin” (bottom left) was released in july 2010 at the Toronto Night Market. Both of these have been very popular with this crowd…. i wonder if it has anything to do with a lot of people referring to penguinoid as the “starcraft penguin”… hmm O__o

its our second day in and so far it has definitely been interesting.. with i love yous, picture takers and our wonderful seattle neighbours playing a good mix of music, including disney =D

we’ve also had some friends stop by and support our booth =)

we got some TRON discs from the promotional booth (who doesnt love free things!?), and managed to find some good buys.. maybe tomorrow we can still catch some last minute deals =D

should probably start with yesterday when they drove in with the bat mobile after registering at the really sketchy registration…

booths..theres a really big tron booth in the middle…then…a coffin..then..i dont remember. we’re actually in one of the furthest aisles. in front of us, there PLANET X and beside us…theres is a huge crowd mainly because of good music, and hentai dvds.

oh. before i forget, we (im sure its not for all of us..), got a love note from a friendly, yet swift stranger. thank you for stopping by. the line up actually stretched all the way around the building. we’ve been giving our zing rings. its kind of small, so just a warning ahead of time…if ur finger is either turning purple or feels cold after putting on the ring, its probably too tight.

Once again, Creative Zing played our role of proud sponsor of the Toronto Flying Tigers as they hosted their annual 4-on-4 beach volleyball tournament last week. The tournament had 16 teams competing against each other with 2 teams waitlisted in the morning. Despite the rain, the turn out and level of play was good.

didnt realize its been so many nights since night it up. those two nights felt more like two months. thanks to all the old frds that showed up (not even going to try naming them all…i think some of them just came for my chips), new ones that decided to help (i think its the first time that i’ve ever talked to justine? she has an awesome blog btw) and strangers that made the visit to our booth. it was the most memorable of the night-it-ups, with the screaming kids beside us for the two nights in a row trying to get customers, and frds trying to scramble pineapples to their booth…and the booth beside us with the skewers thank god the wind never blew towards us)…

anyways..just want to thank everyone that’s showed up to show their support. and especially power unit…who had to help us scoop water out of our booth with a broken broom.

tmr’s night market..things are kind of under control on our end…kind of…
as much as i’d hope for lots of people showing up…i think i’d prefer rain a little more at this point…the heat is melting us…

so..zing has a corner booth this yr at NIU…metro square which is going to take place in 5 days. all the buttons…are…kind of made…shirts…bags…rings..most things are ready to go. hope all goes well. hope its as sunny as today and half as hot. wont be such a ‘night’ market if the sun continues to set at like 10 o’clock…

so either way, come check us out at Booth E##..which is..corner…near the ibm side of the parking lot. shouldn’t be hard to find us. and visit the niu site…i..think it’s nightitup.com..don’t quote me on that.

actually..let me add to that..

according to power unit…my booth is called. RONALD’S BOOTH and description is TSHIRTS. I was hoping they’d give us a little more credit than RONALD’S TSHIRTS BOOTH. lol. its a sick layout plan tho. but, yes andrew. RONALD’s booth. and we have no neighbors (which means we’re probably going to try to claim the next one too and chill there…fitting room maybe? heh. AND we’re right across marbolicious?
